The objectives of this study was to find out whether there was an influence of Think-Pair-Share (TPS) technique towards students‟ reading comprehension on the narrative text at the Tenth grade of students SMAN 4 Kota Serang in academic year 2018/2019.. The research design used in this research was Quantitative method. Design this research used quasi-experimental with pre-test and post-test. The sample of this research were X MIA 1 as the experimental class and X MIA 2 as the control class that consisted of 33 students. This research was conducted on Tuesday, April 9 th 2019 until Thursday, May 2nd 2019. In analyzing the data, the researcher used t-test. Based on the result of t-test was 2.628. The level of significance (0,05) with df (Nx + Ny – 2); (33 = 33 -2=64) was 1.669. Then,the researcher compared If or 2.628 ≥ 1.669. So, the alternative hypothesis ( ) is received. It means that there was an influence of Think-PairShare (TPS) technique towards students‟ reading comprehension on the narrative text at the tenth grade of SMAN 4 Kota Serang..
