The objectives of this research were to find out whether it is effective or not using Two Stay Two Stray technique on students speaking skill at SMPN 10 Kota Serang. The researcher used quantitative design by using true experimental design The population of this study was the seventh grade students of SMPN 10 Kota Serang in academic year 2018/2019 that consist of ten classes. The populations of seventh grade students were ± 337 students. As sample, this research involved two classes that was taken by cluster random sampling. One class was chosen as experimental group and the other class as the control group. There were 68 participants and each class consists of 34 students. The result of this research showed by score of pre-test and post-test. The mean score of pre-test at control group was 42.3, it became 54.3 at post-test. Meanwhile, in experimental group the mean score of pre-test was 44.1, it became 57.6 at post-test. The calculation showed that the result of (8.35 ≥ 2.00) with the significance 0.05 (5%). It can be concluded that there is any effect of using two stay two stray technique on students speaking skill at SMPN 10 Kota Serang.
