This research was aimed to determine whether there was an influence of storytelling on YouTube video towards students’ listening skill. The method used was a quantitative method with true-experimental design. The population was tenth grade students of SMAN 1 Cibeber with 60 students were taken as sample. There were two groups, experimental and control group. Each of which consisted of 30 students. Different treatments were given to both groups, that was storytelling on YouTube video given to the experimental group while the control group taught by traditional teaching. The test of listening was the instrument and then administered in two sections: pretest and posttest. The data was counted with content validity, reliability, normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test (t-test). The result of this research was the storytelling video on YouTube has been proven as a media in teaching skill, where the students could enjoy and interested by using YouTube as the media. The result of analyzing in independent t-test showed that Fcount ≥ Ftable with the level of significance 0.05 (5%) was 4.10 ≥ 2.00. It means that there was the influence of storytelling on YouTube video towards students’ listening skill at tenth grade of SMAN 1 Cibeber.
