This research objective was to find out whether TFlat English Pronunciation android application effective or not in helping the second semester college students of English Education Department of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University in pronouncing English fricative sounds. The participants of this research were decided by using convenience sampling and it consisted of 41 students from 2A class in English Department. The researcher used quasi experimental design and used quantitative method in conducting the research. The data were collected by using questionnaire and test. The primary data were taken from the score of pre-test and post-test and the supporting data were taken from questionnaire to know whether the application was supporting the students or not. The data was served in numerical and tested by statistical formula of one sample t-test. The one-group pretest and posttest design was used in conducting this research and if the average score of posttest was higher than the average score of pre-test, it can be concluded that the instrument was giving an impact toward the students’ pronunciation ability. From the result, the average score in pre-test was 55.1220 and the average score in post-test was 74.7561, thus post-test score was higher than pre-test score so that the TFlat English Pronunciation was effective and able to increase the students’ pronunciation ability. Moreover the tcount of the test is higher than ttable 9.063 > 1.683 then the significance value of the test is 0.000 < 0.05 and based on the hypotheses of the one sample t-test if tcount > ttable and if sig. value < 0.05 Ha was accepted. So it can be concluded that TFlat English Pronunciation was statistically effective for supporting the students in learning to pronounce fricative sounds. Moreover, from the questionnaire, the researcher found out that 53.7% student of the second semester thought that TFlat English Pronunciation android application was helpful and able to support them in learning English pronunciation so they would like to recommend the application to other students
