The objectives of this research was to find out whether there is a correlation between students listening strategy and their listening achievement at the tenth grade of SMAN 3 Pandeglang. The population of this research was all of the tenth grade of SMAN 3 Pandeglang, and the sample of this research used random sampling. The researcher took two classes as a sample research (X-MIA2 and X-MIA4). Both of class consist of 30 students as a respondents. The researcher used quantitative research (correlational research ) and used ex post facto design to calculated the data. The purpose of quantitative research was to know the correlation between students listening strategy and their listening achievement. In this research the researcher used questionnaire and listening test to get the data. The result of questionnaire and test: Coefficient determination= 0,7056, t-count = 15,095, the hypothesis testing = 15,095. It showed that listening strategy had the strong correlation with students listening achievement. The instrument of research was questionnaire and listening test. In conclusion, the researcher concludes that there was a significant correlation between students listening strategy and their listening achievement at the tenth grade of SMAN 3 Pandeglang.
