DEVELOPING FABLE ANIMATED INFOGRAPHICS IN ENGLISH SUBJECT AT EIGHTH GRADE OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL

The purpose of this research was to find out what are the eighth grade students learning needs and how was the product validity of animated infographics. This research used a research and development design involving six stages including the needs analysis, collecting the data, design of product, validation of product, revision of product and main field testing of product. The data was collected by using observation, questionnaire, documentation, validation sheet and interview and using qualitative and quantitative analysis technique to analyze the data. In term of students learning needs, it was found that the learning needs of English subject for the 8th grade students of SMP NEGERI 10 KOTA SERANG was interesting media. In term of product validity, it was found that animated infographics media can be used for fable of narrative text in the 8th grade. It can be proved by result of validation. The result of media expert got score 100% which means that it was categorized as “Very good” criteria, and result of education expert got score 88% which means that it was categorized as “Good” criteria. Thus, the data showed that the animated infographics media is utilized in teaching and learning process in SMP NEGERI 10 KOTA SERANG.
