The objective of this research is to find out whether there is any significant influence of crazy professor reading game technique towards students’ reading comprehension. This research was conducted at the eighth grade of SMP Attaqwa Pusat in academic year 2016/2017. This research was conducted in two class; experimental class and control class. The experimental class was taught by using Crazy Professor reading game and the control class without Crazy Professor reading game. The samples of this research were VIII A as experimental class and VIII C as control class, each class consisted 35 students. The researcher used quantitave method and true experimental design as the research design. The data was collected by using test which consisted of try out, pre-test and post-test. The result of the research showed that Crazy Professor reading game had siginificant influence towards students’ reading comprehension. It is indicated by the value of t-test was higher the value of t-table (9.25 ≥ 2.00) at the level of significant of a 0.05 and degree of freedom is 68. It means that the hypothesis was accepted. From those findings, it could be concluded that there was significant influence of using crazy professor reading game technique towards students’ reading comprehension on narrative text at the eighth grade in SMP Attaqwa Pusat.
