The objective of this research is to describe the students reading comprehension ability, to describe the students narrative paragraph writing ability, and to find out the correlation between students reading comprehension and their ability in writing narrative paragraph. The research design was correlational research. The sample of this research covers 30 students which were selected from 25% total amount of population, 120 students in 3 classes. The population and sampling technique used was convenience sampling. In collecting the data the researcher used two kinds of test as the instrument: multiple choice and essay. The data collected was analyzed by using Pearson Product Moment Correlation technique. From the data analysis, it was obtained that rxy is 0.634 and df=N-nr is 28. Based on the acquisition value of rxy, it can be seen that rxy (0.634) was higher than rtable at significant level 5% (0.361) and 1% (0.463). It can be concluded that that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected, and there was significant correlation between the two variables with contribution percentage 40.2%.
