Language is means of communication which is used by people in communication activity. People be able to communicate well if they master the language in communication, language has very important role to send and transfer messages, ideas in feeling. Communication is not oral communication but also written communication when communicate, they need some language in order to communicate and to make relationships among people from different countries using language, for example in English. Based on the previous assumption above the writer thinks that to make students comprehend of story telling that another content of related story, they also have enough vocabulary mastery, and the student understand well about it, because its basic element in comprehending story.  To teaching and learning English as a foreign language, the students should have the ability of using English in spoken or written. Form it means that they are able to communicate by using English in spoken or written well. However, to be able to rewrite English well especially in story telling, the students should have the mastery of vocabulary because by having the mastery of vocabulary, it hoped that they could know the meaning of the words and are able to arrange the words into appropriate sentences.
