The background of this research was based on students problems in the  process of vocabulary and reading test. The objective of this research was to find out  wether or not there is a significant correlation between vocabulary mastery and  reading comprehension of the tenth grade students of MAN 2 Serang. This research  used quantitative method with ex post facto design. The population of this research  was tenth grade students of MAN 2 Serang in academic year 2015/2016.One class  were taken as the sample of this research, namely XI MIA 3. The data of this research  was collected by giving vocabulary and reading test. Based on students vocabulary  and reading score, it showed the value of correlation test was 0,672. The category was sufficient. It meant that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that there was a significant correlation between students  vocabulary mastery and reading comprehension at the tenth grades student of Man 2  Kota Serang.
